So. The Paros photography workshop. Which was so much more than that!Organised by the amazing Flo from the Flo show. I thought I would share it with you right away. The pictures were ready quite quickly, I filled in a folder named Paros. And I shared some on instagram too. But then I froze. It was like I wanted to hold those beautiful moments for myself in fact. As if sharing would take the experience away from me. And keeping it for me would make it closer a bit longer! But now I'm ready to share. Precisely because it is almost like reliving it again. Ready to tell you a bit about the magic that happened there. Follow me: A great group of women (12 students, 3 teachers, 2 amazing cooks, 1 stylist and Flo) were welcomed in the most magnificient house of Sandra Choremi, the perfect host. There was nothing that wasn't beautiful or inspiring in that house. Nothing! The bedrooms, the outdoor courtyard, the common rooms, the garden... leading to a heavenly private beach. There was music wherever you go and it made the atmosphere even better (if that wouldn't even be possible!)Everyday was a feast for the eyes whether we were in the house or on an excursion like when we all got up super early to capture the sunrise in Paros :We were also served delicious food thanks to Sophie and Julia. There was always a vegetarian, gluten and dairy free option. The house even had its own vegetable patch! And every night we had candle lit dinners, decorated by Karen Louise Faith and sometimes we even face the sea. How amazing? The workshops which were groups of 4 alone with the teachers were also fantastic. Such a luxury to be in such numbers to be able to get the most of all the teachers! They were all so available, it made the experience this extra special. And it's also the best to get to know each other. We had the chance to get close to the wonderful Kim Klassen with whom we talked about so many things in life including styling: We had a movie learning session with the marvellous Xanthe ,a teacher I took my first film classwith... and many other occasions to make movies in Paros too! If you check my InstagramIGTV, i made an iPhone movie:And we learnt so much about editorial with someone I met, discovered and loved there: the inspiring and incredible Lean Timms :Karen was our flower stylist and thanks to her, we had a great photography session by the sea. Followed by a bbq that was just divine!Karen taught me a lot during that week. From doing with what you can forage around you to decorate with style! We had a flower crown session with her and I asked her to show me how she works. I grew really fond of her too, she is such a great person to share the same name with! Also, there was the most fantastic sunsets there!I'm not even showing you a third of it. Can you even imagine for a photographer like me, who loves it so much, being in such a scenery and place with all these great people?Photographing all the time with the people there, talking about it and about life. Everyone is totally fine with shooting, styling, posing without a glimpse of a question? Plus meeting the most amazing students and wonderful teachers? For me, it was dreamy, magical and every bit of what I needed at that point. Such an unforgettable experience!Flo is opening her new workshop in Burgundy right now, it's going to be in June and I really wish I could make it! So if you can and what I'm telling you appeals to you, take the plunge! And of course, here comes the many outtakes:
